Just when you think you understand the world.

Brett Favre retires. Now, I'm no football nut, and I really don't even care for the Packers (though I do understand how that team could bring some joy to your life if you're from Green Bay, where it's 32 below and snowing in JULY), but you could just always count on Brett.

Not to mention, it's one of the most egregious mispronunciations of a French name that I know of. The v comes before the r, yet you pronounce it in the opposite order.

sheesh.

Ok how about you think you know somebody....then they go and write about football on a blog that you thought football would never be mentioned...geez mon..said in my faux Jamaican accent. LOL!

I felt that it was time for Brett to go. You don't want someone who has had a FANTASTIC career to go out as anything but a GREAT player. (You know I'm a football fanatic!) However, the Falcons getting rid of Warrick Dunn is wrong and I hope they pay dearly for that one! I will not be cheering for the Falcons this year! As Matt says, "This is an outstanding debacle".

I always love your blog for many reasons but the top of the list is always a day like today when the word egregious is not only used correctly but adds a sense of panache to the entire post! :)
