Yeah.

So, yesterday, I received this wonderful envelope in the mail.

It was an application for membership in AARP.

I would LOVE to be retired. Really, I would.

I would LOVE to get the AARP discount on stuff, especially travel.

And I have nothing against people who happen to be the appropriate age for membership.

I, on the other hand, am almost half the required age. HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clearly, this was a sign that this week is going to be the week from the pit. I am hoping for improvement, cautiously, since I did successfully empty my dishwasher today without drama. I think that is the only thing that has been drama-free in the last 72 hours.

Lindsey brought me a vanilla malt from the Zesto last night, which was very helpful temporarily. Maybe if we gave vanilla malts to people all over the world who are fighting unnecessarily, and perhaps if we also gave them to people in state government who cannot see the forest for the trees, this planet would be a happier place.

Or maybe I'll just join AARP.

I have gotten AARP stuff before and a draft card. Oh to be older and male!

I love some malts! I think my friend we may need to make a gelato date, you sound like you could use some no drama down time.

Hope the drama has settled and all is well now. :)

BTW-Rhino is LOVING school, we made the right choice for sure!

I think the pineapple milkshake from Zestos would solve world issues for sure! Haven't had the malt one yet, so I might just have to give it a try! I'm sorry you've had a drama filled week already!
If it makes you feel any better, I've gotten AARP stuff too--though I'm older than you I'm still not OLD enough for that! :)

I don't know anything about Zesto's, but ice cream could change the world. Especially Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia! I see some psychic healing coming on....

Oh yeah one more thing...we LOVE volunteering to pay for mom's movies since she qualifies for senior citizen discounts...AND when we go stay somewhere she uses her AARP credit card for hotel discounts...I'm all about AARP! :)

My younger sister got an application for AARP in the mail a few weeks ago on the DAY she turned 25....how's that for irony and sure sign that after 25, you're officially OLD! Ha! :)
